Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a nice long weekend! I know we sure did. Our main event was the “Princess Tea Party”, held by Marbles Children’s Museum in downtown Raleigh, NC. It was such a cute event filled with fun activities, Princess lessons, and of course tea! Marbles hosts the event once a year and it gets sold out quickly! The event is held over a 3 day period with 3 different time slots to choose from. If you have a Princess this is the place to be!
They had a rang of different activities that any age would enjoy. From sensory tables for toddlers to archery lessons for the older princesses. Olivia enjoyed making sand necklaces and playing in Elsa’s snow sensory bin. Ohh!, did I mention that Disney Princesses attended the event as well? Olivia was mostly impressed with meeting Elsa. Star-struck is the only way I can describe her reaction. Olivia only enjoyed watching Elsa from a far. Hahaha it was pretty adorable watching her point and say, “Elsa”, but when asked if she would like to meet her, Olivia’s response would always be, “nooooo”. Maybe next year she will not be as shy.
About 45 minutes of exploring all the activities we were escorted into the tea room where we learned our princess lessons while enjoying tea and sweets. It was precious seeing Olivia curtsy, and twirl. Her face lit up with such excitement. I know Olivia is only two years old and I know she will not remember these moments, but I cannot help but know in my gut that these experiences are molding her and creating an unbreakable family bond that is priceless.
